Cicero Prep is a community dedicated to cultivating the hearts and minds of young people, in the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty. This undertaking is always challenging us to consider how we can best meet the diverse needs of new students and help incorporate them into the larger community. Our Mentor program is one way in which we aim to achieve that goal.
Cicero Prep Mentors work with sixth grade mentees to help them feel at home at Cicero and meet the challenges that accompany excellence. Each sixth grader is assigned two Cicero high school students who serve as their mentors. Mentors and mentees will first meet each other at New Student Orientation on August 1st.

Mentor-Mentee Wednesdays will be every other Wednesday first quarter during Lyceum. On these days, mentors will arrive in your sixth grader’s second period classroom at the beginning of Lyceum to share information about upcoming ways to get involved at Cicero. Then mentors will provide a variety of games and sports to play with their groups of mentees during the remainder of Lyceum that day.
